The Story Behind the Stories
My work has unfolded in step with gardens and green spaces, following the way they shift with light, weather and season. After spending three years immersed in the story of Borde Hill, a nationally important English garden, I now tell the stories of gardens, landscapes and the people who shape them across the wider horticultural world.
Nine years in research means there’s always a bit of analysis woven in with the aesthetics - paying attention to what people respond to, how they interact with a space, and which details stay with them. At its heart, the work is about sharing the character of a place, the people who care for it, and the way nature changes over time.
