The Story Behind the Stories

My work has unfolded in step with gardens and green spaces, following the way they shift with light, weather and season. Most days are rooted at Borde Hill, a nationally important English garden where old trees, new planting and human stories all intertwine.

Nine years in research means there’s always a bit of analysis woven in with the aesthetics - paying attention to what people respond to, how they interact with a space, and which details stay with them. At its heart, the work is about sharing the character of a place, the people who care for it, and the way nature changes over time.
